Biography:
Lisa Woodside is the founder and president of Focused Wealth Strategies, Inc. She is a CFP (R), CPA and has a Masters of Science degree in Taxation. She belongs to the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Financial Planning Association, and the Arizona Society of CPAs. She is on the Finance Committee of her church and is the Treasurer of The Hearts to Hands Foundation, which raises money and volunteers for charities that support at risk women, children and families in the Phoenix area, and volunteers for Habitat to Humanity.
Lisa's prior work experience included working as an investment advisor rep for an independent broker/dealer, ten years as a Vice President or Director of Tax for publicly-held, high tech companies, seven years of financial statement analysis, financial reporting, and controllership experience with a large publicly-held manufacturing company, and six years of public accounting experience that included being a senior tax consulting manager for Ernst & Young, LLP, a "Big Four" public accounting firm.
